I09 April 2002 <br /> AGE-NC Project No 95-0141 <br /> Page 13 of 13 <br /> I The duration of the initial draw-down pilot test will be a nunirnum of 8 hours The proposed <br /> drawdown pilot test will be designed to obtain general aquifer characteristics such as hydraulic <br /> conductivity,transnussivity,well effectiveness (efficiency) and drawdown at various pumping rates <br />' The 48-hour draw-down test will be conducted at a constant rate determined by the optimum <br /> pumping rate deternuned from the 8-hour test and the available storage or handling capacity for <br /> produced ground water <br /> IResults of the draw-down pilot test will be utilized to design and place additional extraction wells <br /> if needed The additional wells will be installed upon EHD approval of an addendum work plan <br /> Ishowing well locations, well designs and treatment system design <br /> I4 8 GROUND WATER SAMPLING <br /> Ground water samples will be collected from the effluent line during the 8-hour pump test at the <br /> beginning and end of each pumping rate and during the 48-hour pump test approximately at 12 hour <br /> intervals The samples will be collected into four 40-m1 EPA-approved VOA vials for analysis for <br /> TPH-g, BTEX, MTBE, TBA, TAME, DIPE, ETBE, EDB and 1,2-DCA by EPA Methods 8015M, <br /> 8020 and 8260, respectively <br /> I49 PURGED WATER DISPOSAL <br /> If a discharge permit cannot be attained, purged ground water will be containerized in an on-site <br /> Baker tank, a "grab" ground water sample will be collected from the Baker tank for analysis for <br /> TPH-g, BTEX, MTBE, TBA, TAME, DIPE, ETBE, EDB and 1,2-DCA by EPA Methods 8015M, <br /> 8020 and 8260, respectively The purged ground water will be transported off-site under an <br /> appropriate waste manifest to a suitable receiving facility <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> • <br /> IAdvanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc <br /> I <br />
