CAL000455520 Item # 102 Metal shavings from both the key cutting machine and the pipe threading machines were collected and provided to GeoAnalytical Laboratories, Inc . for testing . The key fines failed the sieve test, so no further testing was recommended as we now consider them to be hazardous waste . Key fines are collected and will be disposed of with a certified waste collector along with verification and/or Chain of Custody . The pipe threadings passed the sieve test and we are waiting final testing results from GeoAnalytical before continuing . Pipe thread waste have been and continue to be collected in a five-gallon bucket for disposal . We have temporarily stopped recycling them at Sims Metal Recycling until we receive the final analysis from the lab . Cutting oil from the threading machine continues to be collected for recycling as previously stated . In the previous one year, we have generated less than one half quart of unusable cutting oil . The manufacture ' s recommended procedure is to drain the cutting oil , filter out waste (thread shavings), replace the filtered oil back into the machine, replacing cutting oil as needed . As previously stated , we had been disposing of the cuttings along with our other metal scrap . This process has been discontinued until such time as we receive the final analysis from the lab . We cleaned out our hazards cabinet and found that customers had returned 48 canisters of misc . spray paint, four gallons of latex paint, two gallons of wood stain, one spray can of oven cleaner, one spray can of texture compound , and 16 quarts of latex paint, one gallon of windshield cleaner, one gallon of paint stripper, two gallons of insect spray , one gallon of Round Up , one quart of paint thinner, three quarts of motor oils, one quart of chain saw oil . We determined that 41 of the spray paint canisters simply had clogged tips- after cleaning or replacing the tips the paint was made available to staff for personal use or
