Box 2009 <br /> Stockton, California 95201 <br /> RE: Activities Update; Laidlaw Corporation, 1444 Tillie Lewis Drive, Stockton, <br /> California, Site Code 2454. <br /> Dear Ms. Turkatte: <br /> In response to the San I Joaquin County"Public Health Services (SJCPHS) correspondence dated <br /> September 11, 1991, RESNA Industries (RESNA)is submitting this letter to update the SJCPHS <br /> on the upcoming activities at the site located at 1444 Tillie Lewis Drive in Stockton, California. <br /> Laidlaw Corporation has recently authorized RESNA to proceed with the additional investigation <br /> at the project site. Groundwater monitoring and sampling of the three existing wells at the site <br /> is currently being scheduled-to be performed by RESNA personnel this month. The groundwater <br /> samples will be analyzed by a state certified laboratory for Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons as <br /> - - = -Gasoline-(TFI?G)-and. the-gasoline constituents-benzene, toluene, ethylbeiizene, and xylenes <br /> (BTEX) utilizing EPA methods 8015 and modified 8020. <br /> A quarterly monitoring report summarizing RESNA's activities during the quarter and addressing <br /> the SJCPHS' line items included in the September 11, 1991, correspondence will be prepared <br /> and submitted to the agency for review. <br /> Subsequent to review of the sampling results and other information collected to date, a letter <br /> addendum to our December 1.0, 1990, Preliminary Report/Workplan will be prepared by RESNA <br /> proposing further investigation activities. The workplan addendum will describe the additional <br /> phase of work-to'be performed in order to further define the lateral extent of groundwater <br /> LTR1118.WP <br /> 1 <br />
