Hinson: <br /> Water Work Corporation, a division of Resna Industries , <br /> has submitted in our behalf a plan to excavate the site and <br /> drill wells to determine the extent of -contamination. The <br /> plan was sent to Environmental Health on December 10 , 1990 , <br /> but I have been told it will be May or June before it is <br /> reviewed as you have no staff. <br /> ,1 <br /> We urgently need this site cleaned up, as we plan to <br /> install a water cooling tower on the site which will be used <br /> to cool process cooling water. This tower will result in <br /> substantial .water_.savings .. We -could locate- the- tower and- <br /> tank in a temporary location, but it would be in the way of <br /> material movement and we would have the additional expense of <br /> relocating it later. . <br /> I will greatly appreciate your prompt review and approval <br /> of the submitted plan so we can proceed with the necessary <br /> cleanup. <br /> Sincerely yours, <br /> jn S.
