Amended SR0080216 <br /> 1022 E FRONTAGE RD, RIPON, CA 95366 <br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has completed the review of the <br /> application for a permit to: <br /> • Replace existing product piping <br /> • Replace existing dispensers and UDCs <br /> • Install additional UDCs and dispensers <br /> • Install sensors in new UDCs. <br /> • Upgrade the monitoring panel <br /> on the underground storage tank (UST) system at the above noted address. The permit has been <br /> approved with the following conditions: <br /> 1. Contact the local fire department and the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District for <br /> any applicable permits and requirements. <br /> 2. Any changes in information and scope of work must be submitted to EHD for approval prior to <br /> commencing work. All new addenda supersede the previous ones. <br /> 3. Provide written notification to ust@sjgov.org or contact Shewit Woldearegay at(209)468-0216 <br /> to arrange the following appointments (a 48-hour notice is required for inspection <br /> appointments). <br /> a) Witness water and/or soil sampling under removed UDCs and any removed piping. <br /> b) Primary piping soap test of all piping and penetrations(product): One hour pneumatic pressure <br /> test at 110% of operating pressure, or 40 psi, whichever is greater. <br /> c) Secondary piping soap test of all piping and penetrations (product): One-hour pressure test at <br /> the manufacturers recommended specification. <br /> d) Secondary piping slope, at 1/ 8 inch per foot or greater, to a containment sump with an <br /> audible/visual alarm. <br /> e) Verification of all pipe setbacks and burial depth according to the manufacturer's installation <br /> Instructions. Verification of appropriate backfill. <br /> f) If concrete will be broken near the tanks, sumps, or existing piping, a secondary containment <br /> test must be performed on the affected components once concrete is poured in accordance <br /> with the manufacturer's guidelines. <br /> g) Sensor functionality: Functionality of the monitoring system must be verified to ensure that <br /> monitoring has been restored to meet the requirements of Title 23 California Code of <br /> Regulations and the Health & Safety Code. If it is determined that a cold start is necessary, a <br /> copy of the alarm history shall be printed prior to performing the"cold start"of the Veeder Root <br /> system and made available at the time of EHD inspection. <br /> 1868 E.
