Amended SR0080216 <br /> 1022 E FRONTAGE RD , RIPON , CA 95366 <br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department ( EHD) has completed the review of <br /> the application for a permit to do the following on the underground storage tank ( UST) system at <br /> the above noted address : <br /> Replace existing product piping <br /> • Replace existing dispensers and UDCs <br /> Install additional UDCs and dispensers <br /> Install sensors in new UDCs . <br /> Upgrade the monitoring panel <br /> The permit has been approved with the following conditions : <br /> 1 . Contact the local fire department and the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District for <br /> any applicable permits and requirements . <br /> 2 . Any changes in information and scope of work must be submitted to EHD for approval prior to <br /> commencing work . All new addenda supersede the previous ones . <br /> 3 . Provide written notification to ust( sigov . orq to arrange the following appointments ( a 48 - <br /> hour notice is required for inspection appointments ) . <br /> a) Witness water and/ or soil sampling under removed UDCs and any removed piping . <br /> b) Primary piping soap test of all piping and penetrations (product) : One hour pneumatic <br /> pressure test at 110 % of operating pressure , or 40 psi , whichever is greater. <br /> c) Secondary piping soap test of all piping and penetrations ( product) : One- hour pressure <br /> test at the manufacturers recommended specification . <br /> d ) Secondary piping slope , at 1 / 8 inch per foot or greater, to a containment sump with an <br /> audible/visual alarm . <br /> e) Verification of all pipe setbacks and burial depth according to the manufacturer' s <br /> installation Instructions . Verification of appropriate backfill . <br /> f) If concrete will be broken near the tanks , sumps , or existing piping , a secondary <br /> containment test must be performed on the affected components once concrete is poured <br /> in accordance with the manufacturer' s guidelines . <br /> g ) Sensor functionality : Functionality of the monitoring system must be verified to ensure that <br /> monitoring has been restored to meet the requirements of Title 23 California Code of <br /> Regulations and the Health & Safety Code . If it is determined that a cold start is necessary , <br /> a copy of the alarm history shall be printed prior to performing the " cold start" of the Veeder <br /> Root system and made available at the time of EHD inspection . <br /> 1868 E .
