(a ) Fences are permitted, but not required, and are subject to the following height limitations: ( 1 ) Three ( 3 ) feet above the road crown on corner lots for the triangular thirty-foot ( 30 ' ) area (snipe ) at the road intersection; ( 2 ) Three ( 3 ) feet in any other front or street side yard, except that an open fence up to seven (7 ) feet in height may be permitted.
