( 1 ) Section 9-3233 : Special fence requirements . SECTION _ 16 Section 9-5509 is hereby added to Chapter 9 , Division 5 , Title 9 , of the San Joaquin County Ordinance Code to read as follows : SECTION 9-5509 . FENCE REGULATIONS. ( a ) Fences are permitted, but not required, and are subject to the following height limitations : ( 1 ) Three ( 3 ) feet above the road crown on corner lots for the triangular thirty-foot ( 30 ' ) area (snipe ) at the road intersection; ( 2 ) Three ( 3 ) feet in any other front or street side yard, except that a fence up to seven ( 7 ) feet may be permitted a minimum of ten ( 10 ) feet from the property line; ( 3 ) Seven ( 7 ) feet in any other required yard; ( b) The following provisions qualify or amend the fence regula- tions specified in Subsection (a) : ( 1 ) Section 9-3233 : Special fence requirements .
