BASIS FOR THE GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT PROPOSAL <br /> (To be filled out by Planning Division Staff ) <br /> Check any of the following bases for the proposed amendment which may <br /> apply . <br /> 1 . The current General Plan is inadequate or not internally con- <br /> sistent in specific areas . <br /> 2 . New public facilities or services have been established. <br /> 3 . Public financing has been made available . <br /> 4. Changes in transportation have occurred. <br /> 5 . New Federal , State , and/or local laws have been established. <br /> 6 . Changes in current General Plan assumptions , projections , or <br /> other data have occurred. <br /> 7 . New detailed studies have been conducted. <br /> 8 . Changes in a city' s General Plan are affecting adjacent <br /> areas in the County. <br /> 9 . Changes in market supply and demand for industrial, commer- <br /> cial , or residential land have occurred. <br /> 10 . New or changing land uses in the area are adversely affecting <br /> the current General Plan. <br /> 11 . Changes in technology have occurred. <br /> 12. Natural phenomena (floods, earthquakes , etc. ) have occurred <br /> which necessitate a reconsideration of the existing plan. <br /> Explain the bases for Plan Amendment which were checked above: <br /> # Explanation <br /> General Plan Text Amendment 9 ( 6-86 ) <br />
