Section 9-1710. 4 Sign Standards. <br /> (d) Temporary Signs. <br /> (2) Standards. <br /> (C) Except for political signs, signs shall <br /> be erected no more than thirty (30) days <br /> prior to commencement of an event and <br /> removed within seven (7) days following <br /> completion of the event. <br /> (D)_ Political signs shall be removed within <br /> thirty (30) days following the conclusion <br /> of an election. <br /> SECTION Chapter 9-1905, Division 19 , Title 9 , of the San <br /> Joaquin County Ordinance Code is hereby amended to read: <br /> Section 9-1905.3 Violations. It is a violation of this Title <br /> for a property owner to maintain or permit a nuisance on his <br /> property. Any use of land or a structure which is in <br /> violation of this title or in violation of permits approved <br /> pursuant to the provisions of this Title shall constitute a <br /> public nuisance and, if not made to conform, shall be subject <br /> to the enforcement procedures outlined in Section 9-1905. 4 . <br /> Section 9-1905. 5 Recovery of Enforcement Costs. The County <br /> shall be reimbursed for all time services and materials <br /> needed to abate a violation of this Division. <br /> The hourly rate used to compute time spent to investigate, <br /> document and abate a violation shall be the actual costs. <br /> The enforcement agency is entitled to recover all cost <br /> associated with the voluntary and involuntary abatement of <br /> violations. <br /> Section 9-1905.4 Enforcement Procedures. <br /> (d) Appeals Appeals of a notice of a violation to <br /> this Title shall be filed pursuant to Section 9- <br /> 215. 12 (Appeals under the Staff Review with Notice <br /> Procedure) except for the following provisions: <br /> (1) The owner and/or occupant of the property may <br /> file this appeal. <br /> (2) When an appeal is taken to the Board of <br /> Supervisors pursuant to Section 8-5100, any <br /> violation of Division 19 of this Title <br /> included in the Notice of Violation shall be <br /> heard by the Board of Supervisors. <br />
