TA-92-14 OF SAN <br /> JOAQUIN COUNTY (ALL DISTRICTS) <br /> IT IS RECOMMENDED: <br /> 1. Approve the Negative Declaration; and <br /> 2. Approve Development Title Text Amendment No. TA-92-14 based on the 'Bases for <br /> Recommendation' contained in the staff report. <br /> REASON FOR RECOMMENDATION: <br /> The intent of these Text Amendments is as follows: <br /> SECTION 1: This section adds the definitions of involuntary and voluntary abatement which are <br /> necessary because of additions being made to the Enforcement Chapter as shown in <br /> Section 22 of this Text Amendment. <br /> SECTION 2: This section deletes the size requirements from the Custom Manufacturing use type and <br /> clarifies the type of mechanical equipment allowed. <br /> SECTION 3: This section clarifies some of the requirements for non-conforming uses. <br /> SECTION 4: This section clarifies the wording for standard lot sizes in residential zones. <br /> SECTION 5: This section consolidates the information in the tables for'Standards for Lot Width, Yard <br /> Dimensions, Height, and Building Intensity' and'Standards for Lot Sizes'to reflect recent <br /> changes. <br /> SECTION 6: This section changes the method used to guarantee affordable housing under the Density <br /> Bonus provisions to a more appropriate method. <br /> BOS LETTER PAGE 1 <br />
