All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations(Title 22)section 65545. <br /> #7 Pool Deck <br /> OBSERVATIONS:There are gaps between pool coping and deck/concrete floor. Seal these gaps within one month. <br /> The cover of Kristy box located on the North side of the pool is too small. Provide fitted cover flush with the top of the pool <br /> deck within one week. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:An unobstructed 4-foot wide deck of concrete or like material shall be provided and maintained flush with the <br /> top of the pool coping. Deck shall extend completely around the pool and shall further extend 4 feet on both sides and to the rear of any <br /> diving board,ADA device, or slide. (CBC 31148)Pool operator shall keep the pool deck well maintained. (CCR 65535) <br /> #8 Pool and Deck Lighting <br /> OBSERVATIONS:The underwater light is not functioning. Repair/replace this underwater light prior to opening for public, <br /> or post a sign in 4-inch letters stating "NO USE OF POOL ALLOWED AFTER DARK"and secure the pool area and not <br /> permit any use of the pool after dark. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pools used at night shall be equipped with underwater light fixtures that provide complete illumination of the <br /> pool. When a pool is used at night,pool deck and emergency egress areas shall be provided with lighting. If underwater or deck lighting is <br /> not operational, the pool operator shall post a sign in 4-inch letters stating"NO USE OF POOL ALLOWED AFTER DARK"and shall <br /> secure the pool area and not permit any use of the pool after dark.
