SECTION 9-4001 . PERMITTED USES. No building, structure, or <br /> land shall be used for other than one or more of the following <br /> uses unless otherwise provided in this Title: <br /> (a) Single-family dwellings, guesthouses, foster homes ; <br /> (b) Field crops, row crops, tree crops, berry or bush crops ; <br /> (c) The keeping or raising and graz of animals , <br /> , <br /> primarily for commercial purposes, excluding animals on <br /> poultry farms, rabbit and other small animal farms, fish or <br /> frog farms, dairies, hoq farms, feedlots, kennels, and <br /> catteries; <br /> (d) tet Noncommercial nurseries and greenhouses, , <br /> mushroom farms ; <br /> (e) -fY Plants for the storage or packing of fruit or vegetables pro- <br /> duced on the premises; <br /> (f) -Fjt Educational animal project ; <br /> lg)_ Family food production; <br /> SECTION Section 9-4001 . 1 , Chapter 1 , Division 4 , Title <br /> 9, of the San Joaquin County Ordinance Code is hereby amended to read <br /> as follows: <br /> SECTION 9-4001 . 1 . USES SUBJECT TO DEVELOPMENT PLAN. The <br /> following uses are permitted subject to an approved Development <br /> Plan: <br /> (a) Gas and/or oil wells in areas not designated for urban <br /> development in the General Plan; <br /> (b) Hunting and fishing clubs ; <br /> (c) Dwellings, Section 9-3223 notwithstanding, which are <br /> accessory to dairies or poultry farms whose operational <br /> characteristics and methods require the operator to provide <br /> certain of his farm workers with living quarters on the pre- <br /> mises. A density of dwelling units in excess of the density <br /> otherwise permitted by the zone in which the property is <br /> located may be permitted; <br /> TA-88-9 (2nd Draft ) - 11 - (4-11-88 ) <br />
