GP-88-24 (ALL DISTRICTS ) <br /> IT IS RECOMMENDED: <br /> That the Board of Supervisors : <br /> 1, Approve the Negative Declaration and instruct the <br /> Clerk to file a Notice of Determination; and <br /> 2 . Approve General Plan Text Amendment No. GP-88-24 , based on <br /> the "Basis for Recommendation" given in the staff report. <br /> REASON FOR RECOMMENDATION: <br /> The General Plan Text Amendment would revise the <br /> Zoning/General Plan Consistency Matrix (Appendix B of the Land <br /> Use/Circulation Element of the County General Plan ) by: <br /> 1. Indicating on the Matrix the existing and proposed <br /> agricultural zones; <br /> 2 . Permitting the PD zone in areas shown as Agriculture, <br /> Conservation, and Rural Residential; <br /> 3 . Recognizing the "L" Combining zone; <br /> A, Noting that overlay zones (AP, SC, and L) may be <br /> appropriate in any General Plan designation; and <br /> 5 . Eliminating the C-3 zone. <br /> The Planning Commission heard this matter at its meeting of <br /> March 17 , 1988 . After considering all written and oral <br /> testimony, the Commission, by a vote of 6-0 , recommended <br /> approval of the General Plan Text Amendment. <br /> At the meeting, no one spoke for or against the General Plan <br /> Text Amendment. <br /> BOS LETTER PAGE 1 <br />
