<br /> CHAPTER 3 . COMMERCIAL ZONE (C-2 ) COMMUNITY COMMERCIAL
<br /> SECTION 9-6200 . INTENT . The C-2 commercial district pro-
<br /> vides the goods and services necessary to supply the general com-
<br /> mercial need of a family. It contains a greater variety of
<br /> stores than a neighborhood district, and, therefore, provides a
<br /> wider selection of goods and services to the shopper .
<br /> Each use shall be conducted in harmony with existing adjacent
<br /> land uses . The size of the district shall be determined by the
<br /> area it is intended to serve.

<br /> SECTION 9-6201 . PERMITTED USES . In a commercial zone C-2,
<br /> no building, structure or land shall be used and no building or
<br /> structure shall be erected which is arranged, designed or
<br /> intended to be used for other than one or more of the following
<br /> uses :
<br /> (a ) The following retail stores :
<br /> ( 1 ) Antiques, art needlework, art shop, supplies; aut-
<br /> mobile and trailer sales or rental , or parts sales
<br /> and/or upholstering; provided, that repair work is
<br /> conducted and confined wholly within a building;
<br /> ( 2 ) Baby supplies, bakery employing not more than five
<br /> ( 5 ) persons, bicycle shop, bird store, boat harbor,
<br /> boat sales, service, rentals, repairs; books;
<br /> ( 3 ) China, glassware and metalware, clothing store,
<br /> confectionery;
<br /> ( 4 ) Delicatessen, department store, drapery and curtain
<br /> store, drug store, dry goods;
<br /> ( 5 ) Egg candling and sales, electrical and heating
<br /> appliances;
<br /> ( 6 ) Fish market, flooring, florist, fountain equipment
<br /> and sales, frozen food lockers incidental to main
<br /> grocery store, fruit, vegetable or juice store; fuel
<br /> sales office, furniture sales and repair, fur sales ,
<br /> storage and repair;
<br /> ( 7 ) Gift shop, greenhouse, greeting cards , grocery, gun
<br /> sales;
<br /> ( 8 ) Hardware store, not including sale of powered
<br /> vehicles or tools using motors greater than two ( 2 )
<br /> horsepower; health food, hemstitching shop, hobby
<br /> shop, hospital supplies;
<br /> ( 9 ) Ice cream, ice sales, self-help type; insulation
<br /> sales;
<br /> ( 10 ) Jewelry;
<br /> ( 11 ) Leather goods, linen shop, liquor store, off-sales;
