Special Fencing Requirements for Industrial Proiects. The following requirements shall appty to fencing for all industrial projects. u Fencing of Front Yards A fence up to seven M feet in height may be permitted in the required front yard provided such fencing is constructed of woven wire, wrought iron or similar transparent material. Security Fencing Barbed wire security fencing not to exceed two (2) feet in height may be erected on top of required or permitted fencing, except for fencing adjacent to planned or exiting residential areas. �f Special Fencing Requirements for Agricuftural Zones The following provisions shall apply to fences in agricuftural zones: An open fence up to seven (7) feet in height may be permitted in any required yard in areas carrying an agricuftural zoning designation. An open fence eight (8) feet in height may be permitted in any side yard or rear yard for parcels twenty (20) acres or greater in size in areas zoned for agriculture. Barbed wire fencing not to exceed two (2) feet in height may be erected on top of permitted fencing. Section 9-1022.4 Screening Standards Screening may be used in any zone, provided a safe sight distance is maintained All screening required by this Chapter shall comply with the provisions of this Section. Lal Materials Screening shall include the installation and maintenance of one (1), or a combination of the following elements: j11 Plant materials; 21 Fencing: Walls; or (4) Berms. Lbj Screening Materials Screening materials of corrugated plastic or iron, steel, aluminum, asbestos wood (excluding wood in combination with masonry), or security chain-Ink fencing are specifically prohibited Security chain-link fencing may be permitted for industrial projects if combined with aesthetic screening treatment acceptable to the Review Authority Unless otherwise specified barbed wire is not permitted. Lcj Density. When plant materials are used for screening they shall be planted in such quantity and location as to achieve an effective visual screen within three (3) years of installation tf a hedge fails to retain such density any time after this three (3) year period, ft shall be supplemented or replaced with other dense landscaping or an appropriate fence or wall.
