TA-94-5 OF <br /> SAN JOAOUIN COUNTY for an Ordinance amending Title 9 of the <br /> Ordinance Code of the County of San Joaquin, concerning the <br /> requirements for connection to public wastewater disposal <br /> systems. The project is applicable Countywide. This item is <br /> continued from the hearing of November 3 , 1994 . <br /> Kerry Sullivan, Senior Planner, introduced the staff report into <br /> the record. <br /> PUBLIC HEARING OPENED: <br /> PROPONENTS: <br /> Ron Stein (45 N. E1 Dorado, Stockton) represented the residents of <br /> the south Stockton area who did not want to tie into the sewer <br /> system, per Mello-Roos requirements, if they added on to their <br /> homes. Under Mello-Roos, there is a $535 per acre charge, <br /> retroactive to 1988 . These people are in favor of the proposed <br /> amendment. <br /> OPPONENTS: <br /> None were present. <br /> PUBLIC HEARING CLOSED: <br /> MOTION: <br /> Moved, seconded (Morri-Zunino) , and passed by a unanimous roll call <br /> vote (7-0) to: <br /> 1 . Approve the Negative Declaration; and <br /> 2 . Forward Development Title Text Amendment No. TA-94-5 to the <br /> Board of Supervisors with a recommendation for approval based <br /> on the "Bases for Development Title Text Amendment" contained <br /> in the staff report. <br /> VOTE: <br /> Ayes: Carter, Jungeblut, Zunino, Morri, Fortney, Demichelis, Rojas <br /> Noes: None <br /> Absent: None <br /> -6- <br />
