H2 0GEOL o APR 2 9 2004 <br /> ENVIRONMENT HEALTH <br /> A GROUND WATER CONSULTANCY PERMIT/SERVICES <br /> Mr Harlan Knoll, RE H S Apnl 28, 2004 <br /> Senior Registered Environmental Health Specialist <br /> San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> 304 E Weber Avenue, Third Floor <br /> Stockton, CA 95202-2705 <br /> RE First Quarter 2004 Groundwater Monitoring Report - Former Donna Gardner <br /> Property, 26056/26080 Thornton Road North, Thornton, CA <br /> Dear Mr Knoll, <br /> This First Quarter, 2004 Groundwater Monitoring Report is submitted by H20GEOL on <br /> behalf of R B Construction, Inc for the former Donna Gardner Property, located at <br /> 26056/26080 Thornton Road North in Thornton The site location is shown on Figure 1 <br /> 10 POTENTIOMETRIC SURFACE <br /> The depth to water in each monitoring well was measured on March 19, 2004 between <br /> • 14 10 and 14 19 hours Depths to water were measured to +/- 0 01 feet using a Sohnst <br /> Model water level meter The depths to water were converted to potentiometric surface <br /> elevation by subtracting the measured depths to water from the casing top elevations <br /> reported in the September 29, 2003 groundwater monitoring report submitted by <br /> Environmental Restoration Services The depth to water, casing top elevations, and <br /> potentiometric surface elevations are presented in Table 1 All available previous water <br /> level measurements are also summarized in Attachment C <br /> Table 2 lists the slope (gradient) and direction of gradient of the potentiometric surface <br /> for the triangles with a well at each apex for these water level measurements <br /> Figure 2 is a map showing the approximate potentiometric surface for the six monitoring <br /> wells on March 19, 2004 The potentiometric surface was domed centering on monitoring <br /> well MW-3, as has previously been the case (Figure 2) <br /> 2 0 MONITORING WELL PURGING AND SAMPLING <br /> Monitoring well purging and sampling occurred on March 19, 2004 for the First Quarter <br /> 2004 event Only two of the wells are monitored MW-3 and MW-4 <br /> �I <br /> P 0 Box 2165 ■ Livermore,Cahfortua 94551-2165 ■ (925) 373-9211 <br />
