The Group Care use type refers to facilities <br /> authorized, certified, or licensed by the State of <br /> California to provide non-medical care and supervision to <br /> adults or to beard, reeffi, and persenal eare er <br /> supervisi-en--ef persens er dependent and neglected <br /> children Roza-te—autherized,eertified, er lieensed <br /> faeil ty Typical uses include halfway houses, nursing <br /> homes, convalescent homes, homes for the mentally <br /> retarded or emotionally disturbed, a-nd homes for drug and <br /> liquor addicts, and adult day care facilities. The <br /> following are the categories of the Group Care use type: <br /> (1) Group Care, Large. Group care facility for seven <br /> (7) or more; <br /> (2) Group Care, Small. Group care facility for six (6) <br /> or fewer; <br /> (3) Group Care, Large, Farm Related. Group care <br /> facility on a farm, ranch, or camp setting wherein <br /> bona fide commercial agricultural enterprise, <br /> animal husbandry, or farm-related vocational <br /> education, along with skills training and work <br /> experiences, and outdoor-oriented personal fitness <br /> training are substantial elements of the program <br /> provided. The density ratio shall be three (3) <br /> full-time residents for each five (5) acres. <br /> L1 Adult Day Care. Group care facility providing less <br /> than twenty-four (24) hour a day care for seven (7L <br /> or more people. <br /> (n) Recycling Services. The Recycling Services use type <br /> refers to the reuse of previously produced materials. <br /> The following are the categories of the Recycling <br /> Services use type: <br /> (1)_ Consumer. The collection and temporary storage, <br /> prior to recycling, of paper, aluminum, and glass <br /> products used by consumers in the home and not <br /> Intended for reuse in their commercially marketed <br /> form.
