All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations(Title 22)section 65545. <br /> #3 Safety Signs <br /> OBSERVATIONS:The followings sings are missing or need to be replaced, provided within one week. <br /> • Diarrhea Sign is missing at the South entrance:The pool operator shall post at the entrance area of a public pool, a sign <br /> in letters at least 1 inch (25 mm)high,that clearly states that persons with diarrhea and persons who have had diarrhea <br /> within the prior 14 days shall not enter the pool water. <br /> • The main sign with all requirements is faded. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool operator shall keep safety signs well maintained. (CCR 65535)Safety signs shall have clearly legible <br /> letters or numbers not less than 4 inches high, unless otherwise specified. Safety signs shall be affixed to a wall,pole,gate, or similar <br /> permanent structure in a location visible to all pool users, unless otherwise specified. (CBC 31206) <br /> #4 Safety Equipment <br /> OBSERVATIONS:The pole of body hook is not 12-foot. Provide a 12-foot-minimum fixed-length rescue pole with a <br /> permanently attached body hook prior to opening for public. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Safety equipment shall be provided,maintained,readily visible,and available for use.Pools shall have at <br /> minimum one 12 foot fixed-length rescue pole with a permanently attached body hook and one 17-inch life ring with an attached throw <br /> rope.
