Immediately, make a <br /> hazardous waste determination for the following wastes, and manage it according the Title 22 hazardous waste <br /> regulations. Submit a statement and supporting documentation explaining how this waste was managed. <br /> -(2)totes(265 gallon &330gallon)container of cooling tower water <br /> -(1)Waterless battery stored inside of the oil storage building (bone yard)fence. <br /> -(1)Container of unknown oily sludge substance on top of a 55-gallon oily water at the used drums of oil storage <br /> area <br /> -Oily absorbent pad left on top of a used oil drum at the drums of oil storage area <br /> -Open 55-gallon drum labeled as Empty inside of the oil storage building still contained some oil <br /> -Blue container labeled empty, but contained some type of sludge <br /> -Provide pH readings of the sulfuric acid rinse water before pH adjustment and discharge to sewer(provide multiple <br /> pH readings for the wastewater)Laboratory tests will be more accurate. If the wastewater is hazardous waste by <br /> having a pH below 2 or another hazardous waste characteristics,then apply for a hazardous waste treatment permit <br /> with the EHD. <br /> -Oily water next to compressor condensate <br /> -Used Drawing Lube needs STLC testing because the TTLC copper results is more than 10 times the STLC limit on <br /> the 4/15/19 test results. <br /> -Parts washer waste in the maintenance shop <br /> -Compressor condensate by the phosphoric acid storage area <br /> -Batteries stored inside of a 5-gallon bucket and on the table at the maintenance shop <br /> -Cart of e-Waste at the maintenance shop <br /> -Oily metal fines by the lathe equipment at the maintenance shop <br /> -Epoxy powder all over the floor at the Epoxy Department. <br /> Submit a statement and supporting documentation explaining how this waste was managed, and submit disposal <br /> records to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 117 CCR 66268.7(a)Failed to make determination for land disposal. <br /> Land disposal records: <br /> -Manifest 019415213JJK LDR,was missing the signature, printed name&title and date and checked marking if <br /> waste analysis of this data is attached or not attached. <br /> -Manifest 019415214JJK LDR,was missing the signature, printed name&title and date <br /> The facility operator must always sign these records and mark appropriate boxes.
