AUG 14 1099 <br /> 4. Changes in ownership and land use. (not exempt): <br /> In this case, both the property ownership and land use of the former <br /> farm tank site changed. The land use has changed from agricultural to <br /> nonagricultural use and the motor° vehicle fuel stored in the tank is no <br /> longer being used for agricultural purposes (example': a farmer sold <br /> his property to a developer for nonagricultural development). <br /> All previously exempt farm tanks, if no longer being used 'for :the purpose <br /> which allowed them the exemption, shall be permitted or closed in accordance <br /> with Chapter 6.7 of the Health and Safety Code. The owner,. of .'a farm tank <br /> which becomes nonexempt must either obtain a valid operating permit or close 3 <br /> the tank in accordance with Chapter 6.7 of the Health and !`-Safety Code and any <br /> applicable local agency requirements. If a permit is required, an <br /> application therefore should be submitted promptly and must be submitted <br /> within the time period established by the local agency or if no such time r <br /> period has been established, within a reasonable period of time.
