The primary focus of the program is
to protect drinking water by identifying, evaluating and regulating the safe
injection of non-hazardous fluids through on-site subsurface disposal systems
such as dry wells that receive storm water and septic systems that serve more
than 20 persons per day.
All owners/operators of injection wells are required to submit inventory
information to U.S. EPA or its delegated representative which in San Joaquin
County is EHD. Since Glenwood Mobile Home Park septic systems serve more
than 20 people per day and dry wells have been installed at the facility that
receive storm water, you must complete the enclosed "Inventory of Injection
Well" form and return it to EHD.
If you have questions or need assistance please call me at (209)468-3449.
Donna Heran, RENS, Director
Environmental Health Department
—Pl,J-, AT-Lt
Margaret Lagorio, Supervising REHS
Unit IV
Enc.
