vi <br /> Pf_ <br /> [[ Working To Restore Nature <br /> 1710 Main Street <br /> Escalon, CA 95320 <br /> Phone (209) 838-3507 (4 3 <br /> FAX (209) 838-3509 <br /> June 29, 1994 <br /> Ms Mary Meays <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services <br /> Environmental Health Division <br /> P O Box 2009 <br /> Stockton, CA 95201 <br /> Subject Status Update Report, McAllister Trust, 601 S Ventura St , Stockton, CA <br /> Dear Ms Meays <br /> This letter report is submitted to summarize recent activities conducted at the subject site (Figure <br /> J6 1) Activities performed included removal and disposal of hydrocarbon impacted groundwater <br /> from the open excavation and manipulation of excavated stockpiled soil <br /> SITE BACKGROUND <br /> On March 9, 1989, two underground fuel storage tanks were removed from the site <br /> Hydrocarbon contamination was noted In soil samples collected from the east side of the tank <br /> pit excavation, however, a water sample collected from the southwest corner of the pit did not <br /> record any fuel constituents above method detection limits Laboratory results are summarized <br /> In Table 1 (soil results) and Table 2 (groundwater results) <br /> I <br /> On October 25, 1989, the floor of the former tank pit was deepened from 10 to 18 feet below <br /> grade using a tracked excavator Soil samples collected from the floor and sidewalls of the pit <br /> contained very low to non-detectable levels of petroleum hydrocarbons Laboratory results are <br /> summarized in Table 1. <br /> On November 22, 1989, six composite soil samples were collected from the excavated material <br /> stockpiled on-site Laboratory results for composite samples collected from the excavated <br /> material did not indicate the presence of hydrocarbon contamination above method detection <br /> levels Based on analytical results, the former tank pit was backfilled with the excavated <br /> remediated material <br /> Three groundwater monitoring wells were installed at the site by WaterWork Corp in August <br /> 1990 (MW 1, MW2 and MW3) A fourth well was installed by RESNA Industries Inc <br /> 150059%SUR-694 FNL <br />
