olli�ig Ta Or— Restore Nature 1710 Main Street 93 JUL 29 PP1 2: 01 Escaion, CA 95320 Phone (209) 838-3507 FAX (209) 838-3509 July 26, 1993 Ms Mary Meays San Joaquin County Public Health Services Environmental Health Division P O Box 2009 Stockton, CA 95201 RE McCallister Trust, 601 South Ventura, Stockton, California, PHS/EHD Site Code 1275 Dear Ms Meays • This letter report details Second Quarter 1993 groundwater monitoring activities performed at the above referenced site (Figure 1) On June 8, 1993, RESNA Industries personnel monitored groundwater levels from wells MW1, MW2, MW3, and MW4 Water level measurements (Table 1) were collected from each monitoring well using a Solinst Water Level Meter (Model 101) Groundwater monitoring data is included in Attachment l Water elevations have decreased an average of 101 feet since March 1993 A groundwater gradient map was prepared using data from the June 8, 1993 monitoring event (Figure 2) Groundwater beneath the site flows toward the east The gradient vanes from approximately 0 0078 to 0 020 (41 ft/mile to 106 ft/mile, respectively) As per the May 4, 1993 project meeting held at the San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division (PHS/EHD)office, no groundwater samples were collected from site monitoring wells during the second quarter of 1993 RESNA anticipates field activities associated with the excavation of residual hydrocarbon impacted soils to begin during the third quarter of 1993 All work will be performed in accordance with the May 1993 Problem Assessment Report and Soil Contamination Workplan approved by the PHS/EHD in correspondence dated June 8, 1993 The PHS/EHD will be notified prior to commencing field activities • 20R 1993 FNL
