olli�ig Ta Or— <br /> Restore Nature <br /> 1710 Main Street 93 JUL 29 PP1 2: 01 <br /> Escaion, CA 95320 <br /> Phone (209) 838-3507 <br /> FAX (209) 838-3509 <br /> July 26, 1993 <br /> Ms Mary Meays <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services <br /> Environmental Health Division <br /> P O Box 2009 <br /> Stockton, CA 95201 <br /> RE McCallister Trust, 601 South Ventura, Stockton, California, PHS/EHD Site Code 1275 <br /> Dear Ms Meays <br /> • This letter report details Second Quarter 1993 groundwater monitoring activities performed at <br /> the above referenced site (Figure 1) <br /> On June 8, 1993, RESNA Industries personnel monitored groundwater levels from wells MW1, <br /> MW2, MW3, and MW4 Water level measurements (Table 1) were collected from each <br /> monitoring well using a Solinst Water Level Meter (Model 101) Groundwater monitoring data <br /> is included in Attachment l Water elevations have decreased an average of 101 feet since <br /> March 1993 A groundwater gradient map was prepared using data from the June 8, 1993 <br /> monitoring event (Figure 2) Groundwater beneath the site flows toward the east The gradient <br /> vanes from approximately 0 0078 to 0 020 (41 ft/mile to 106 ft/mile, respectively) <br /> As per the May 4, 1993 project meeting held at the San Joaquin County Public Health Services, <br /> Environmental Health Division (PHS/EHD)office, no groundwater samples were collected from <br /> site monitoring wells during the second quarter of 1993 <br /> RESNA anticipates field activities associated with the excavation of residual hydrocarbon <br /> impacted soils to begin during the third quarter of 1993 All work will be performed in <br /> accordance with the May 1993 Problem Assessment Report and Soil Contamination Workplan <br /> approved by the PHS/EHD in correspondence dated June 8, 1993 The PHS/EHD will be <br /> notified prior to commencing field activities <br />• 20R 1993 FNL <br />
