��A�� <br /> Working To Restore Nature <br /> 1710 Main Street <br /> Escalon, CA 95320 <br /> Phone (209) 838-3507 April 13, 1993 <br /> FAX (209) 838-3509 <br /> Ms Mary Meays �,y,` � s �� %��I�, �� <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services K <br /> Environmental Health Division APR 14 1993 <br /> P O Box 2009 ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH <br /> Stockton, CA 95201 <br /> DFPKNTIIP,�,QYi��� <br /> RE- Marital Deduction Trust, 601 South Ventura, Stockton, California, PHS/EHD <br /> Site Code 1275 <br /> Dear Ms Meays <br /> This letter report details First Quarter 1993 groundwater monitoring and sampling activities <br /> performed at the above referenced site (Figure 1) <br /> • On March 10, 1993, RESNA Industries personnel monitored groundwater levels from wells <br /> MW1, MW2, MW3, and MW4 Water level measurements (Table 1) were collected from each <br /> monitoring well using a Solinst Water Level Meter (Model 101) Groundwater monitoring data <br /> is included in Attachment 1 Water elevations have increased an average of 6 47 feet since <br /> December 1992 A groundwater gradient map was prepared using data from the March 10, <br /> 1992 monitoring event (Figure 2) Groundwater beneath the site flows toward the east The <br /> gradient vanes from approximately 0 0069 to 0 022 (36 ft/mile to 116 ft/mile, respectively) <br /> Groundwater samples were collected from wells MW 1, MW2, MW3, and MW4 Samples were <br /> collected from wells MW1 and MW4 as part of the quarterly sampling program and from wells <br /> MW2 and MW3 as part of the annual sampling program Prior to sampling, a minimum of 34 <br /> gallons of water were purged from each well Conductivity, pH, and temperature were <br /> monitored during purging and allowed to stabilize before sampling Field purge logs are <br /> included in Attachment I Groundwater samples were collected using dedicated, disposable <br /> bailers The samples were placed on tee and transported under chain-of-custody to state-certified <br /> RESNA Environmental Laboratories in Fremont, California All samples were analyzed for <br /> benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, xylenes (BTEX), and total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline <br /> (TPHG). The sample from well MW I was also analyzed for total petroleum hydrocarbons as <br /> diesel (TPHD) All analyses used appropriate EPA methodologies All purged water was <br /> contained in labeled DOT approved drums and left on site pending laboratory analyses <br /> 10MR1993 FNL / <br /> 1� 1 <br /> Yom` <br />
