' <br /> Escalon, CA 95320 > <br /> Phone (209) 838-3507 <br /> FAX (209) 838-3509 <br /> ��FAtL T1A <br /> 14�'.;�il,i �1 r_,," i�',i� January 14, 1993 <br /> Ms Mary Meays <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services <br /> Environmental Health Division <br /> P O Box 2009 <br /> Stockton, CA 95201 <br /> RE Marital Deduction Trust, 601 South Ventura, Stockton, California, PHS/EHD <br /> Site Code 1275 <br /> Dear Ms Meays <br />• This letter report details Fourth Quarter 1992 groundwater monitoring and sampling activities <br /> performed at the above referenced site (Figure 1) <br /> On December 8, 1992, RESNA Industries personnel monitored groundwater levels from wells <br /> MW I, MW2, MW3, and MW4 Water level measurements (Table 1) were collected from each <br /> monitoring well using a Solinst Water Level Meter (Model 101) Water levels have decreased <br /> an average of 0 37 feet since September 1992 A groundwater gradient map was prepared using <br /> data from the December 8, 1992 monitoring event (Figure 2) Groundwater beneath the site <br /> flows toward the east The gradient vanes from approximately 0 004 to 0 039 (21 ft/mile to 206 <br /> ft/mile, respectively) <br /> Groundwater samples were collected from wells MW1 and MW4 Prior to sampling, a <br /> minimum of 29 gallons of water (minimum 5 casing volumes) was purged from each well <br /> Conductivity, pH, and temperature were monitored during purging and allowed to stabilize <br /> before sampling Field purge logs are included in Attachment 1 Groundwater samples were <br /> collected using dedicated, disposable bailers The samples were placed on ice and transported <br /> under chain-of-custody to state-certified RESNA Environmental Laboratories in Fremont, <br /> California All samples were analyzed for benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, xylenes (BTEX), <br /> total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHG), and total petroleum hydrocarbons as diesel <br /> (TPHD) using appropriate EPA methodologies All purged water was contained in labeled DOT <br /> approved drums and left on site pending laboratory analyses <br /> QMR 0193 FNL <br />
