�W� <br /> • n �_, r l� Working to Restore Nature <br /> 1710 Main Street t 'l ] w i -3 }FJ <br /> Escalon, CA 95320 OCT 1 4 1992 <br /> Phone (209)838-3507 <br /> FAX (209)838-3509 ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH <br /> PERMIt/W10orn <br /> October 12, 1992 <br /> Ms Mary Meays <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services <br /> Environmental Health Division <br /> P O Box 2009 <br /> Stockton, CA 95201 <br /> RE Marital Deduction Trust <br /> 601 South Ventura, Stockton, California <br /> PHS/EHD Site Code 1275 <br /> Dear Ms Meays <br /> This letter report details Third Quarter 1992 groundwater monitoring and sampling activities <br /> performed at the above referenced site (Figure 1) <br /> On September 10, 1992, RESNA Industries personnel monitored groundwater levels from wells <br /> MW1, MW2, MW3, and MW4 Water level measurements were collected from each <br /> monitoring well using a Solinst Water Level Meter (Model 101) Groundwater monitoring logs <br /> are included in Attachment 1 Water levels have decreased an average of 1 98 feet since June <br /> 1992 (Table 1) A groundwater gradient map was prepared using data from the September 10, <br /> 1992 monitoring event (Figure 2) The gradient varies from approximately 0 007 to 0 035 (37 <br /> ft/mile to 185 ft/mile, respectively) <br /> Groundwater samples were collected from wells MW 1 and MW4 Prior to sampling, a <br /> minimum of 50 gallons of water (approximately 19 casing volumes) were purged from each <br /> well Conductivity, pH, and temperature were monitored during purging and allowed to <br /> stabilize before sampling The samples were collected using dedicated, disposable bailers The <br /> samples were placed on ice and transported under chain-of-custody to state-certified RESNA <br /> Environmental Laboratories in Fremont, California All samples were analyzed for benzene, <br /> toluene, ethylbenzene, xylenes (BTEX) using EPA method 8020 and for total petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHG) using modified EPA method 8015 Additional analysis for <br /> total petroleum hydrocarbons as diesel (TPHD) was performed on monitoring well MW1 All <br /> L072792 MRM <br />
