AM <br /> Working to Restore Nature <br /> 1710 Main Street <br /> rta L A' - <br /> Escalon, CA 95320 AUG 0 6 1992 <br /> Phone (209) 838-3547 ENVIRONMENTAL HlsWH <br /> FAX {249}838-3509 <br /> PERMIT/SERVICES August 5, 1992 <br /> Ms Mary Meays <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services <br /> Environmental Health Division <br /> P O Box 2009 <br /> Stockton, CA 95201 <br /> RE Marital Deduction Trust <br /> 601 South Ventura, Stockton, California <br /> PHS/EHD Site Code 1275 <br /> Dear Ms Meays <br /> • This letter report details Second Quarter 1992 activities performed at the above referenced site <br /> (Figure 1) <br /> On June 11, 1992, RESNA Industries personnel monitored groundwater depths from wells <br /> MW1, MW2, MW3, and MW4 Water level measurements were collected from each <br /> monitoring well using a Solinst Water Level Meter (Model 101) Groundwater monitoring logs <br /> are included in Attachment I Water levels have decreased an average of 0 68 feet since last <br /> monitoring in May 1992 (Table 1) A groundwater gradient map was created using data from <br /> the June 11, 1992 monitoring event (Figure 2) The gradient is approximately 0 020 feet/feet <br /> or 106 feet/mile in an east-southeast direction <br /> Prior to sampling, 3 to 5 well volumes of water were purged from wells MW1, MW2, and <br /> MW4 The samples were collected using dedicated, disposable bailers The samples were <br /> submitted to state-certified RESNA Environmental Laboratories in Fremont, California All <br /> samples were analyzed for benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, xylenes (BTEX) using EPA method <br /> 8020/602 and for total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHG) using modified EPA method <br /> 8015 Additional analysis for total petroleum hydrocarbons as diesel (TPHD) was performed <br /> on monitoring wells MW 1 and MW4 All purged water was containenzed in DOT approved <br /> drums and left on site pending laboratory analyses <br /> L072792 MRM <br />
