ANVAPS <br /> Working to Restore Nature <br /> 1710 Main Street F E B 1 9 1992 <br /> Escalon, CA 95320 <br /> Phone (209) 838-3507 ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH <br /> FAX (209)838-3509 PERMIT/SERVICES January 17, 1992 <br /> Ms Mary Meays <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services <br /> Environmental Health Division <br /> P O Box 2009 <br /> Stockton, CA 95201 <br /> RE Marital Deduction Trust <br /> 601 South Ventura, Stockton, California <br /> PHS/EHD Site Code 1275 <br /> 40 Dear Ms Meays <br /> This letter report details Fourth Quarter 1991 activities <br /> performed at the above referenced site <br /> (Figure 1) This work is requested by the San Joaquin County Public Health Services <br /> Environmental Health Division <br /> On November 7, 1991, RESNA Industries personnel monitored groundwater depths and <br /> collected groundwater samples from each monitoring well, MW1, MW2, and MW3 (Attachment <br /> 1) Water level measurements were collected from each monitoring well using a Solinst Water <br /> Level Meter (Model 101) Water levels have decreased from 127 to 1 02 feet since last quarter <br /> monitoring in August 1991 (Table 1) A groundwater gradient map was created using data from <br /> November 7, 1991 (Figure 2) The gradient is approximately 0 032 feet/feet or 170 feet/mile <br /> in a east-southeast direction <br /> Prior to sampling, 3 to 5 well volumes of water were purged from each well The samples were <br /> collected using a dedicated, disposable Teflon bailer The samples were submitted to state- <br /> certified Applied Analytical Environmental Laboratories in Fremont, California All samples <br /> were analyzed for benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, xylenes (BTEX) using EPA Method <br /> 8020/602, and for total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHG) using modified EPA <br /> Method 8015 Monitoring well MW I was inadvertently analyzed for BTEX and TPHG only <br /> All purged water was containerized in DOT approved drums and left on site pending laboratory <br /> analyses <br />• LR010792 MD <br />
