These data would allow determination of the potential effectiveness of in situ biodegradation as a supplemental treatment technique, 10.0 RECOMMENDATIONS After reviewing the data and evaluating the technical and economic feasibility of each of the remediation alternatives,Groundwater Technology recommends a groundwater extraction and treatment system as the most effective and suitable remedial action for this site. Additionally,in order to determine the extent of petroleum hydrocarbons in the soil in the vicinity of the gasoline fuel dispensers,Groundwater Technology recommends drilling and collecting soil samples -- (down to the water table), and analyzing the samples for TPF!-G,TPFI-D, and BTEX.
