t a A
31 January 1997
AGE-NC Project No 95-0125
5 2 RECOMMENDATIONS
Based upon the results of the investigation, AGE has the following recommendations
• Although low concentrations of petroleum hydrocarbons remain near the north end of the
December 1995 excavation limits, we do not recommend active remediation of the residual
petroleum hydrocarbon impacted soil The soil stockpiled will be utilized for clean fill by the
Lanunersville School District
• Dissolved hydrocarbons have dissipated or migrated from the previously impacted
monitoring wells, yet the dissolved hydrocarbon plume is stable within the constraints of the
monitoring well locations Therefore AGE recommends no further sampling of the ground
water wells The monitoring wells should be abandoned in accordance with the San Joaquin
County well ordinance and county building codes
• AGE recommends that the PHS-EHD issue certified site closure
60 LIMITATIONS
Our professional services were performed using that degree of care and skill ordinarily exercised by
environmental consultants practicing in this or similar localities The findings were based mainly
upon analytical results provided by an independent laboratory Evaluations of the
geologic/hydrogeologic conditions at the site for the purpose of this investigation are made from a
limited number of available data points (i a monitoring wells) and subsurface conditions may vary
away from these data points No other warranty, expressed or implied, is made as to the professional
recommendations contained in this report
