1
QUARTERLY REPORT
' June 1996
Lammersville School District
16555 West Von Sosten Road
' Tracy, California
1.0 INTRODUCTION AND SCOPE OF WORK
In accordance with a request from Mr Kenneth Olds of the Lammersville School District (LSD),
Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc (AGE)has prepared this Quarterly Report detailing field activities
performed at 16555 West Von Sosten Road, Tracy, California(the site) The scope of work included
the transfer of over-excavated soil into an aeration treatment cell and the quarterly monitoring of two
existing ground water monitoring wells in June 1996 The location of the site is illustrated in Figure
1 - Location Map A plan of the site is illustrated in Figure 2 - Site Plan A detailed background
summary for the site was presented in the Quai terly Report - March 1996, dated 29 March 1996,
prepared by AGE
Monitoring and sampling activities were conducted in accordance with San Joaquin County Public
Health Services - Environmental Health Division (PHS-EHD) and Central Valley Regional Water
Quality Control Board guidelines for the investigation of UST sites
2.0. PROCEDURES
2 1 MONITORING WELL PURGE PROCEDURES
On 04 June 1996,the depth to ground water in all wells, except for MW-5 and MW-7, was measured
relative to the casing top using a Solinst water level meter Wells MW-5 and MW-7 were not
accessible at the time of monitoring The relative ground water elevation in each well and prevailing
hydraulic gradient were determined from these data Ground water depth data is presented in Table
1
After depth to water measurements were performed, a pre-cleaned bailer or submersible pump was
used to remove approximately 7 gallons of standing water from well MW-6 to stabilize temperature,
pH and conductivity A pre-cleaned PVC baler was used to remove approximately one-half of a
gallon of standing water from MW-2 Stabilization parameters were measured at regular intervals
in each purged well using an ICM Water Analyzer Purged water was stored on-site in DOT drums
Ground water stabilization and field data sheets are included in Appendix A
22 GROUND WATER SAMPLE COLLECTION
• On 04 June 1996, ground water samples were collected from monitoring wells MW-2 and MW-6
E
E
