After tests were performed an <br /> underground gasoline tank was removed from this site in December of <br /> 1986 . There has been no continued release of hazardous materials <br /> at this site from that date . As of this date ten monitoring wells <br /> have been installed. Soil and monitoring well water is stored on <br /> site . Future remediation is pending the acquisition of funds from <br /> the California State Office of Local Assistance and/or the <br /> Underground Tank Cleanup Fund. <br /> Lammersvil.le School personnel are now performing basic <br /> monitoring tests due to the lack of funds for this project . All <br /> ten wells were opened and examined. Wells 2 and 4 had water bailed <br /> from the Christy boxes . All 10 wells were found to be in good <br /> condition. The well heads were left open while measuring the depth <br /> of water in the wells and sampling for hydrocarbon odor or sheen. <br /> Water samples were collected for observation of hydrocarbon <br /> presence by odor and sheen.
