The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been <br /> addressed for EL CAMINO TIRES as of June 16 , 2020 . <br /> Open violations from October 112018 inspection <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑ This violation will be corrected by (date) : <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation : <br /> Violation #404 - Failed to inspect hazardous waste storage areas at least weekly. <br /> Hazardous waste containers are not inspected weekly. Three 55 gallon steel drums containing used oil filters were <br /> not accessible because there was no proper isle space . Two of the drums were open and all three of them did not <br /> have any labeling . Hazardous waste container storage and transfer areas shall be inspected weekly for leaking <br /> containers and for deterioration of containers and the containment system caused by corrosion and other factors . <br /> Immediately clear the debris and begin conducting the necessary weekly inspections for all hazardous waste <br /> containers at this facility. <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑ This violation will be corrected by (date) : <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation : <br /> Violation #406 - Contaminated container not marked with date emptied or managed within one year of being <br /> emptied . <br /> In the main shop : <br /> -One black 55 gallon steel drum was observed without an empty date . <br /> In the side shop : <br /> -One black and four blue 55 gallon steel drums were observed without an empty date . <br /> Containers larger than five gallons that previously held a hazardous material shall be marked with the date they <br /> were emptied and managed within one year of being emptied . Immediately mark and manage all empty containers <br /> per this section . <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑ This violation will be corrected by (date) : <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation : <br /> Violation #501 - Failed to completely label stationary hazardous waste tanks . <br /> The hazardous waste tank contained a hazardous waste label that had an illegible accumulation start date. All <br /> hazardous waste tanks shall be marked with the words " Hazardous Waste" and the accumulation start date . <br /> Immediately ensure that all hazardous waste tanks are marked with the required information . <br /> Page 7 of 11 <br />
