(Geomatrix) has <br /> prepared this well permit application package for upcoming soil, gro dwater, and soil vapor <br /> characterization activities at 2801 N.West Lane in Stockton, California. <br /> Characterization activities will be undertaken across the entire site. The entire site is identified as <br /> San Joaquin County Assessor's Parcel Numbers (APN) 11709001, 11709013, 11709014, <br /> 12536032,and 12721215. MCL owns the site and plans to develop it fo future residential use. <br /> MCL has entered into a Voluntary Cleanup Agreement(VCA) with the alifornia Department of <br /> Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) for oversight of the environmental cleanup necessary to <br /> support residential development. <br /> The objective of this work is to further define the extent of ployaromatid hydrocarbons (PAHs) in <br /> soil and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and formaldehyde in soil vapor and groundwater <br /> and underlying the site. To meet this objective, 43 locations within the 60 acre site boundary <br /> have been selected for soil, soil vapor, and groundwater sample collection by direct-push drilling. <br /> This permit package has been prepared in accordance with the require ents for well permitting <br /> set forth by the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Dep ent and consistent with <br /> discussions between Harlin Knoll of the San Joaquin County Environr iental Health Department <br /> and Geomatrix personnel.
