George C . Hopkins
Subject : REQUEST FOR GROUND WATER SAMPLING
Dear Mr . Hopkins :
As per your request , we have sampled ground water from the
200 and 300 series monitoring wells including Well No . 6 . The
schedule of sampling was initiated on July 1 , 1986 with a total
of twenty wells sampled by July 3 , 1986 . During a quality
control review of those activities performed by field personnel ,
it was learned that Well No . 204 was not sampled. Therefore , to
complete the above request , sampling of Well No . 204 was
performed on July 8 , 1986 , thus yielding a total of 21 ground
water samples .
?lease note that all samples were submitted on a daily basis
to Canonie Engineers of Stockton, California following strict
chain-of-custody procedures for determination_ of total chromium,
hexavalent chromium, and nitrate concentrations . Results of the
laboratory analysis are anticipated to be received by our office
by July 18 , 1986 . A preview of these results along with our
comments and/or suggestions will subsequently be forwarded to
you. The invoice for these laboratory samples will be forwarded
shortly hereafter .
N• &p.SS
.4
