Hater Board requested on On-Site sampling <br /> program be developed to detect changes <br /> in ground water. <br /> Comments: This program has been developed <br /> and has been in force since the <br /> last well was completed. Hells <br /> are being sampled on a quarterly <br /> basis. <br /> d. It was requested that MCTC address any <br /> potential source that may have caused <br /> Nitrates to be present in the ground <br /> water in excess of standards. <br /> Comment: MCTC will investigate. <br /> Marge Rouch of the DOHS made the following comments: <br /> 1 . A second phase ground water investigation is <br /> necessary to determine the full extent of <br /> contamination migration. <br /> Comment: This investigation is in progress. <br /> Six wells have been drilled. Six <br /> more are planned. <br /> 2. MCTC is installing 6 on-site wells. See item 1 . <br /> Comment: A report will be made when all <br /> wells have been sampled. <br /> 3. Copies of actual lab analysis results are needed. <br /> comment: MCTC will see that copies are sent <br /> to all agencies. <br /> Comments that EPA made: <br /> 1 . Ground water investigation should be directed <br /> at identifying problems and developing information <br /> that will be used to develop an effective <br /> remedial action plan. <br /> Comment: This is being done. <br /> 2. All relevant and applicable health and <br /> environmental standards will be considered <br /> when developing the remedial action plan. <br />
