1 <br /> JURISDICITON <br /> 2 <br /> 3 The Department is in the Health and Welfare Agency of the State of California. <br /> 4 The Department is the state agency responsible for the administration of the <br /> 5 Hazardous Waste Control Law, Chapter 6.5 of Division 20 of the California <br /> 6 Health and Safety Code, and the Hazardous Substance Account Act, Chapter 6.8 of <br /> 7 Division 20 of the California Health and Safety Code. <br /> 8 <br /> 9 The Department administers and enforces the provisions of the Hazardous <br /> 10 Substance Account Act (hereinafter the Act), as contained in Section 25300 et <br /> 11 �1• of the Health and Safety Code.
