Sacramento QA/QC Group FILE: 15884-017-044 <br /> DATE Jul 23 1999 <br /> July SITE: American Forest Products <br /> SUBJECT Summary of Data Validation for Quanterra Project G9F070165 <br /> A check for data completeness (Completeness Check) was performed by the Sacramento QA/QC <br /> Group on Quanterra Project G917070165 for the American Forest Products Project The report <br /> contains analytical data for three aqueous samples DMW-6, DMW-7, and DMW-60 Samples <br /> DMW-6 and DMW-60 represent a field duplicate pair The samples were collected on June 7, <br /> 1999 and submitted to the laboratory for analysis of Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons-Diesel (EPA <br /> 8015M) The laboratory report was received by the Sacramento QA/QC group on July 22, 1999 <br /> The data were reviewed in accordance with analytical methods outlined in EPA SW-846 The <br /> data were evaluated based on the following parameters <br /> ✓ Data Completeness <br /> ✓ Holding Times <br /> ✓ Blanks <br /> ✓ Surrogates <br /> ✓ Laboratory Control Samples <br /> ✓ Matrix Spike/Matrix Spike Duplicates <br /> ✓ Compound Identification and Quantification <br /> The following presents an overview of the Completeness Check <br /> • All analyses were performed as per the chain-of-custody records <br /> • All holding times were initially analyzed within the method-specified holding times <br /> • No contaminants were detected in any of the associated method blanks <br /> • Since a matrix spike/matrix spike duplicate analysis was not performed, an assessment of <br /> matrix affects cannot be made All LCS recoveries met QC criteria <br /> • Acceptable field and analytical precision was demonstrated by the field duplicate pair <br /> DMW-6/DMW-60 <br /> • According to the laboratory, the peak patterns present in samples DMW-6, DMW-7, and <br /> DMW-60 do not match the diesel standard pattern, consequently, the results have been <br /> reported as unknown hydrocarbons <br /> These data are acceptable in all other areas of review and are useable for their intended purpose <br /> A NSacval08 693 <br />
