1
• Based on the model results which are supported by groundwater monitoring data, if
groundwater level were to remain at approximately 54 to 70 feet bgs, there would be
no adverse impact to water quality, health, or other beneficial uses of groundwater
beneath the site
6 2 RECOMMENDATIONS
' It is recommended that this site be considered for conditional closure based on the above
' considerations and the following 5-year groundwater monitoring program
• Quarterly water level measurements on the site monitoring wells
• Sample the four site monitoring wells annually and analyze the samples for TPHd
' (EPA Method 8015)
' • Obtain monthly water level data from California Water Service in Stockton for their
wells 77-01 and 21-01, which are the closest water supply wells to the Site
r • Preparation of annual reports including hydrographs of water levels in site monitoring
wells and California Water Service wells, a contour map showing groundwater
' gradient, tables of water level data and analytical results, and a short discussion of
the monitoring results
• If water levels increase to 50 feet bgs or detections of TPH/D in monitoring wells are
reported, then the closure status and further monitoring should be reevaluated
• If, at the end of 5 years (August 1999), water levels remain below 50 feet bgs and
' there are no detections of TPfl/D in groundwater at the site, then this site should be
closed unconditionally
' SAC116 07 17 AUGUST 1994
DAMES & MOORE
