There was some Henry's roof
patch, deck stain and Thompson sealer that was gladly taken by our employees for their personal use. The
process now is to deal with the paint residual after each job so we don't have an accumulation. As soon as my
worker gets back from Tracy I'll scan the training sheet and get it to you. Hazmat handling procedures and
safety was the topic. We will have an all hands on deck training to satisfy Robert's complaint.
Yes, I read your contingency plan attachment and Gary Elsholz and I will complete it sometime next week.
This will also help take care some more of Roberts stuff. I only keep the Bill of Lading forms from the drivers at
this location. I'll talk to our Contract person for an Invoice from the Destination Facility on the contaminated
soil.
Steve
From: Gaitan,Jason <jgaitan@sjgov.org>
Sent:Thursday, September 5, 2019 10:58 AM
To: Long, Steven@Parks<Steven.Long@parks.ca.gov>
Subject: RE: 18600 Corral Hollow Rd
Hi Steve,
I am glad the confusion has been cleared.
I just had additional questions, how much paint would you say you ended up taking to Kelly-Moore Paints and Vans Ace
Hardware?
Also, have you received the signed copy for the contaminated soil from the destination facility? In this case the
destination facility is Yuma Yes 2 Waste Transfer Facility.
What type of training was provided? I also need the names, job titles, and job description of each employee that
received training including yourself. This should be kept as a record for your facility for up to 3 years.
Did you receive my contingency plan attachment that I sent out on the 4t"of this month? Filling out that attachment will
help close out the violation.
By answering all the above questions, all violations for the hazardous waste inspection report should be closed.
If you have any questions please feel free to call me.
Thank you,
.JASON GAITAN
1
