Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations(Title 22)section 65545. <br /> #3 Safety Signs <br /> OBSERVATIONS:The following signs were missing on the East Gate. Provided within one week: <br /> • Keep closed signed is missing.A sign shall be posted on the exterior side of gates and doors leading into the pool <br /> enclosure area stating, "KEEP GATE CLOSED"or"KEEP DOOR CLOSED". <br /> • Diarrhea Sign:The pool operator shall post at the entrance area of a public pool, a sign in letters at least 1 inch (25 mm) <br /> high,that clearly states that persons with diarrhea and persons who have had diarrhea within the prior 14 days shall not <br /> enter the pool water. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool operator shall keep safety signs well maintained. (CCR 65535)Safety signs shall have clearly legible <br /> letters or numbers not less than 4 inches high, unless otherwise specified. Safety signs shall be affixed to a wall,pole,gate, or similar <br /> permanent structure in a location visible to all pool users, unless otherwise specified.
