According to Steve <br /> Holland,Area Manager,a release had occurred at a construction site and the waste was brought back to the facility. <br /> Transportation of hazardous waste shall be performed only by a person that holds a valid registration issued by the <br /> Department of Toxic Substances Control to transport hazardous waste. <br /> Immediately begin using a registered hazardous waste hauler to transport any generated hazardous wastes. Provide <br /> a statement on how you will correct this to EHD. <br /> This is a Class I violation. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> An inspection report was provided to the facility operator on the day of inspection. The report was amended by <br /> the EHD. The amended report replaces the initial report. <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork,within 30 days of receiving the amended inspection report. <br /> Notes: <br /> -Violation 201 was added to the report. <br /> -The following minor violation was corrected during the inspection: <br /> The modified contingency plan was missing the location of the spill equipment.
