(CBC 31206) <br /> #10 Disinfectant Residual <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Wade is currently closed due to COVID-19 and HOA does not plan to open pool this season.Free <br /> chlorine level is too low at 1.4 ppm.When wade re-opens next year level shall be 3.0-10.0 ppm. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Public pools, when open or in use,shall be disinfected continuously by approved chemicals and shall maintain <br /> the following concentrations: 1.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine without cyanuric acid, 2.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine with cyanuric acid <br /> or 2.0 ppm bromine. Spas, wading pools,and spray grounds shall maintain the following concentrations:3.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free <br /> chlorine or 4.0 ppm bromine.
