EI Dorado St, French Camp
APN 193-070-13, SR0082155, PA-1700051
The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has received and reviewed the
Soil Suitability/Nitrate Loading Study, dated August 16, 2020, submitted on June 4, 2020 for the
above noted location, and has the following comments for your consideration.
The Soil Suitability/Nitrate Loading Study was prepared to determine for the above noted parcel for
onsite wastewater treatment system (OWTS) usage and the potential long-term impact of nitrates to
groundwater for the proposed project development. Per study, the proposed development project
include the following:
1. A 1,200 square foot office.
Based on the information provided, the EHD can make the following findings:
1. The long-term Nitrate Loading impact from the OWTS usage is calculated based on 2
employees and 8 visitors daily. Site approval project, is approved for 2 employees and 12
visitor/customer per day. The long-term nitrate impact from OWTS usage shall be calculated
based on the uses of the site approval project.
2. Submit an SSNL Study addendum to EHD addressing the above stated concern. EHD will
review and respond to addendum accordingly.
If you have any questions please contact Naseem Ahmed, Registered Environmental Health
Specialist, REHS, at nahmed@sjgov.org or (209) 468-3436.
r
MichaeKith, REHS
Program Coordinator
C: Terracon Consultants
1868 E.
