S A N J 0 A Q I I I Irl Environmental Health Department <br /> CCUNT <br /> Hazardous Materials Program Inspection Report <br /> Facility Name: Facility Address: Date: <br /> Ryder Systems Inc. 1 1565 N MACARTHUR DR, TRACY June 17, 2020 <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> (CLASS I,CLASS II,or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> Item# Remarks <br /> 8 HSC 25505(a)(4) Failed to submit a training program or program is not reasonable or adequate for facility. <br /> A training program was not submitted. <br /> Training programs for all employees and annual training, including refresher courses, shall include familiarity with <br /> the facility's Emergency response plans and procedures in the event of a release or threatened release of a <br /> hazardous material.Training shall cover, but not limited to, all of the following: <br /> (A) Immediate notification contacts to the appropriate local emergency response personnel and to the unified <br /> program agency. <br /> (B)Procedures for the mitigation of a release or threatened release to minimize any potential harm or damage to <br /> persons, property, or the environment. <br /> (C) Evacuation plans and procedures, including immediate notice,for the business site. <br /> These training programs may take into consideration of each employee. <br /> This violation was corrected on site. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 9 HSC 25508(a)(1) Failed to annually review and certify that the business plan is complete, accurate, and up to date. <br /> The business plan information has not been reviewed and resubmitted in the California Environmental Reporting <br /> System (CERS)annually. The hazardous materials inventory shall be submitted by January 15 of each calendar <br /> year and may be submitted beginning November 1 of the previous year. <br /> This violation was corrected on site. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 12 HSC 25505(c)Failed to have the business plan readily available to facility or EHD personnel. <br /> Facility could not provide the Emergency Response Plan and the Chemical inventory upon request. The emergency <br /> response plans and procedures,the inventory of information required by this article, and the site map required by <br /> this section shall be readily available to personnel of the business or the unified program facility with responsibilities <br /> for emergency response or training pursuant to this section. <br /> This violation was corrected on site. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> All violations were corrected on site at time of inspection. 750,000 square foot where house, yard area, two <br /> battery storage/charging areas, hazardous waste area, shop area, office, both propane storage areas, and the <br /> fire pump room were all inspected at time of inspection. <br /> To minimize person to person contact EHD is choosing to write the name of person receiving the report instead <br /> of having them sign. Starting September 1, 2018, all in-office CERS help will be provided at EHD hourly rate <br /> ($152).
