All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations(Title 22)section 65545. <br /> #3 Safety Signs <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Spa is closed due to COVID-19. If it reopens,write in capacity. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool operator shall keep safety signs well maintained. (CCR 65535)Safety signs shall have clearly legible <br /> letters or numbers not less than 4 inches high, unless otherwise specified. Safety signs shall be affixed to a wall,pole,gate, or similar <br /> permanent structure in a location visible to all pool users, unless otherwise specified. (CBC 31208) <br /> #8 Pool and Deck Lighting <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Light is not working. Replace by 2 weeks. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pools used at night shall be equipped with underwater light fixtures that provide complete illumination of the <br /> pool. When a pool is used at night,pool deck and emergency egress areas shall be provided with lighting. If underwater or deck lighting is <br /> not operational, the pool operator shall post a sign in 4-inch letters stating"NO USE OF POOL ALLOWED AFTER DARK"and shall <br /> secure the pool area and not permit any use of the pool after dark. (31158) <br /> #18 Pool Shell and Tile <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Spa has a small amount of pits. Plan to re-plaster in the near future. Contact this department and pull <br /> permit for remodel. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool shells shall be white and have a smooth waterproof interior finish that will withstand repeated brushing, <br /> and scrubbing.A spa pool may be finished in a light color other than white when approved by the enforcement agency. (CBC 31088) <br /> #24 VGB Suction Covers <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Cover on wall fell off.
