This statement is in response to the violations at STAGG HIGH SCHOOL#'s 103 & 605.Attached are pies of item in compliance, for your review. Item#103- We are awarc of the minor violation and have added the sampling/characterization results from the Laboratory, confirming and ensuring the Asbestos is Non-Friable and per the Laboratory results, characterized as Non-Hazardous waste, in agreement with NON- HAZARDOUS waste manifest referenced during inspection in the records. Item#605- We are aware of the class Il violation and have added the words "Hazardous Waste" on drum. The New Label is attached and verified in accordance with CA Hazardous Used Oil Management practices as seen in attached pic. In F6, the 5 gallon bucket containing specimens were mis-characterized as Hazardous Waste and inadvertently put in as Hazardous waste, when it should have been Biological Waste. The teacher was retrained by science chair in lab specimen waste management. Attached is the pics of the specimens in the new container in red drum awaiting disposal from Stericycle.
