This statement <br /> is in response to the violations at STAGG HIGH SCHOOL#'s 103 & 605.Attached are <br /> pies of item in compliance, for your review. <br /> Item#103- <br /> We are awarc of the minor violation and have added the sampling/characterization results <br /> from the Laboratory, confirming and ensuring the Asbestos is Non-Friable and per the <br /> Laboratory results, characterized as Non-Hazardous waste, in agreement with NON- <br /> HAZARDOUS waste manifest referenced during inspection in the records. <br /> Item#605- <br /> We are aware of the class Il violation and have added the words "Hazardous Waste" on <br /> drum. The New Label is attached and verified in accordance with CA Hazardous Used <br /> Oil Management practices as seen in attached pic. <br /> In F6, the 5 gallon bucket containing specimens were mis-characterized as Hazardous <br /> Waste and inadvertently put in as Hazardous waste, when it should have been Biological <br /> Waste. The teacher was retrained by science chair in lab specimen waste management. <br /> Attached is the pics of the specimens in the new container in red drum awaiting disposal <br /> from Stericycle. <br />
