The containers <br /> were: <br /> -One 55 gallon container with used oil paper filters observed with no accumulation start date and no physical state <br /> marked. Operator corrected on site using last manifest for paper oil filters and circling physical state. <br /> -One 5 gallon bucket with metal shavings observed with no accumulation start date. Operator corrected on site by <br /> using latest manifest pick up for metal shavings. <br /> -One 10 gallon used oil collector observed with no hazardous waste label. Operator filled out hazardous waste label <br /> and placed it on to container. <br /> Note: hazardous waste label for one 100 gallon tank with waste antifreeze and one approximately 80 gallon tank of <br /> used oil observed hanging above tanks. Operator corrected on site by taping hazardous waste labels on the 100 <br /> gallon waste antifreeze tank and one 80 gallon used oil tank. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: the <br /> words"Hazardous Waste", name and address of generator, hazardous properties, physical state, composition <br /> (contents), accumulation start date <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately label the containers as required for hazardous waste. Provide a corrective <br /> action statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> (EHD)within 30 days. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, by N/a . All violations closed. <br /> Starting September 1, 2018, all in-office CERS help will be provided at EHD hourly rate ($152).
